  1. My ex was a FedEx driver, he almost lost his arm after being attacked by a dog while delivering a package. It was awful the way they threatened to take away insurance and temporary disability through the job. He worked for them for 15 years in 2 different states and none of that mattered. Always hire a lawyer for stuff like this.

  2. Or just be knowledgeable on the actual relevant law yourself and be a royal pain in corporates backside and force them to cooperate. It better yet work for a company that actually cares and doesn't pull that stupid stuff on it's employees

In New Zealand workers pay 1.2% of their wages and employers pay 0.08% of their payroll into ACC, which is an accident compensation system, that covers any treatment you may need for your injury, whether it be Drs visits, physiotherapy, surgery, assistance at home well as paying for 80% of your regular wages. In an event that you suffer permanent injury, like a lost limb or eye, you receive a lump sum payout, as well as any assistance you need, work to adjust your house if that's required, like ramps, hand rails, modified bathroom and anything else.

Got hurt in work 23 years ago workman's comp doctor got me hooked on oxycontin that the doctor said it was not addictive in 2016 i have kidney stones went to a hospital the nurse says I was drug seeking how can a nurse say that and it's on my records now how can I sue the nurse or the hospital for putting that on my records

  5. Laws doent mean anything when dealing with car insurance they are the BIGGEST scam artist in the world taking someone high on drugs word but being high on drugs in a unreliable witness?!? Im permanently in pain and fucked for life cause of car insurance and now can barely work or function

  6. I injured my foot stepping off some machinery. My supervisor said "yah were not supposed to stand up there but everyone does it" I talked to the workmans comp person, they gave me a doctor to go see and told me I had to make the request. I didn't think anything about it. The Dr they sent me to said it was gout. I didn't care my foot healed on its own.

    Every time I called my
    Workmans Comp rep. She would ask
    “Have u hired a lawyer, because I can’t
    Talk to u if u have a lawyer”
    LoL
