This video will examine what types of doctors get sued most frequently for medical malpractice and how much they pay for those malpractice claims. When it comes to getting sued for medical malpractice not all doctors have the same experience. Certain types of doctors get sued for medical malpractice much more frequently than others. This video will present statistics on which types of doctors pay out the most malpractice claims; which specialties have the highest risk rates; and which doctors pay the most for each malpractice claim.
What Studies on Malpractice Show
One-third of malpractice claims that result in death or disability can be traced to inaccurate or delayed diagnosis. About three-quarters of these misdiagnosis cases can be traced to diagnostic errors involving cancer, vascular events, and infection.

I am liberal and l believe any doctor who performs surgery on underage kids for gender reassignment should be sued for malpractice. Period, l am all in on this one with conservatives.
Dr. Patrick William Hitchon is the most wicked, evil, arrogant surgeon. He is the neurosurgeon at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics who intentionally paralyzed me when I was 18 years old.
Rutland Vermont witnesses refuse to be contacted. I have been refused treatment at UVM medical center since 2008 here in Burlington Vermont. All musicians I was in bands with, go figure……the reason why is because of malpractice in Rutland, shrinks that they witnessed October 25, 2001, December 24, 2008….I have a truthful mind…like a time machine. This is one exampleHello Stanford, I have had a pituitary tumor since diagnosed in Rutland Vermont on May 12, 2003. The PC and also Dartmouth neurosurgeons said it was too risky to do transphenoidal and that I would have serious problems. Since living in Burlington Vermont, any time I have complained about the tumor, which is now a macroadenoma, since 2008, noone will do even anything at all here at UVM medical center in Burlington. They have told me not to worry about it, be lucky it has not killed me, or BS that pills will boost sugar levels. I appealed to neurosurgery directly and they had patient advocates call me. Nowhere. THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING. I have all types of symptoms in which they said is a mental problem. Lots know here but noone cares or not their problem in Vermont.
I thought Doctors who misdiagnose Sespis. My father died on May 28th due to the improper care of a poorly trained medical staff. The worst of all is that they told me he had Covid-19. for 2 months I warned them; don't mistake my sweetest to weakness. Sepsis is a global health crisis. It affects between 47 and 50 million people every year, at least 11 million die – one death every 2.8 seconds. I spoke to him on the phone 4 times a day. People who have this illness suffer. They let my Father suffer, The one last scream I heard wakes me up almost every night. The worst of the worst no one had the guts to tell him he was dying. I had to tell him that God was calling him home. He wept like a child. I want to thank the outstanding nurses who took my calls and gave up there free time, lunch hours; before shifts; after shifts so that they could hold the phone for my Father so I could talk to him; read to him; sing to him; play his favorite music for him. RIP DAD; I MISS YOU EVERY DAY……………LIVING WITH YOU FOR 14 YEARS HAS BEEN A PLEASURE. LIVING ALONE WITHOUT YOU IS UNBERABLE. I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON:)
Psychiatrists are the worst and i think the most sued and most complaints. If lawyers can discredit their fraudulent profession it can be easy to win cases but because of government lobbying they are allowed to profit off society with pseudoscience and lies.
Psychiatrist malpractice is more damaging than regular malpractice because Iin psychological malpractice can ruin your life and career because no one do business or sign contract to you in business or investment much less hiring or give you jobs if you had psychiatrist diagnosis
A doctor lied saying there was nothing wrong but in the x-ray you can see there was a broken bone then other doctor look at it and said I needed ankle surgery to remove the broken bone
Can I sue my doctor due to miss diagnosis. They told me I had planter facitiis and to go back to work after 2 weeks but 2 years down the line after I lost my job wife children home. It turns out that it's peripheral neuropathy /sfn
I had a knee injury 3 years ago, per Ortho Dr, "no weight bearing times 6 weeks", went back to ortho practice 9 months later as I was still having discomfort and was given exercises to strengthen surrounding muscles to do at home. Following 2 years I complained to my GP because I was still having pain. Made appt with Nurse Practitioner who stated it was OK. Had my GP check my knee @ least 4-5 times that 2 year period of time "OK", last Wednesday I insisted my knee was not "OK" and MRI was ordered. Now I need a total Knee Replacement. This is a very invasive and painful procedure that requires extensive physical Therapy. I'm single with no relatives in state. I will need someone to stay with me for 2-3 weeks. They will have to drive me to PT appts for weeks as I will not be able to drive for 5-6 weeks. I will have a big scar on my knee. What started as a simple stress fracture & torn meniscus has turned into a nightmare. I had to cancel a trip to AK to visit my daughter and grandsons for the 1st time. I doubt I will have the cash to take that trip next year even with fairly good insurance coverage. Talk about pain & suffering!! I'm a retired RN with mostly surgical experience but anyone who went thru this would understand my GP was negligent. I would like to sue him and pay for my trip to AK. but more importantly remind him to listen to his patients. I have never been real impressed with him but changing DRs is a pain. His practice is associated with a fairly large Hospital in Ft Wayne IN & I wonder if it's worth my time.
Just an anecdote: I'm 73 and had a lower lumbar spinal fusion in May 2019. From my first visit with the neurosurgeon to my last visit with physical therapy, the entire process was so well done I was quite amazed. I called the surgical team the Pros from Dover, referring to 1970s film MASH. Thank you for this personal indulgence. Unfortunately I've also known some really incompetent bozos as well, particularly psychiatrists and so-called counselors. Go after them as well.

Can I sue the State Mental Health Doctors, Probate Judges, and Workers for illegal incarcerations for no crime?
This was in my recommended because of a certain Jellystone meme.
